About Justice Corps
Help provide equal access to justice! Justice Corps is a group of dedicated volunteers who provide court assistance to the public in the Pikes Peak region. Justice Corps staffs the Self Help Center in the El Paso County Combined Courthouse (room S101). Volunteers are students with an interest in law and public service. We answer questions related to court process and paperwork for El Paso County and the 4th Judicial District.

- Justice Colorado Corps volunteers provide information and referral, in person, by telephone or via email, to pro se (self represented) litigants involved in cases within the Fourth Judicial District.
- Volunteers shall not provide legal advice, but can provide general information about court processes, practice, paperwork and community resources.
- Volunteers provide information about available pro bono legal services, legal services programs, the Lawyer Referral Service, and when necessary, encourages pro se litigants to obtain legal advice.
- JCC is happy to assist with independent study opportunities, internships, or other available course credit offered by your college.
