Jack is a Colorado Springs, Colorado native. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Natural Resource Management and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1987 from the University of Oregon. Jack was admitted to the Colorado State Bar that same year and began his practice in litigation. Jack is the President of the firm where his practice focuses on civil litigation. The majority of his civil litigation practice is in the areas of personal injury, insurance, business, Real Estate Section trust and probate.
He has lectured on civil litigation and insurance topics and is a graduate of the NETA Trial Advocacy course. He is a member of the El Paso County and Colorado Bar Associations. He is licensed to practice in both the State and Federal Courts.
Jack has been very active both professionally and civically. Among others, he has served on several boards including the El Paso County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, COBALT, the Visiting Nurses Association, Committed to Freedom, the First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs, the Palmer Land Trust and the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. His leadership roles have included acting as the Chair and then co-Chair of the Southern Colorado Mock Trial Competition from 1989 to 2001, serving for two years as the Chair of the First Presbyterian Church of Colorado Springs multi-million dollar stewardship campaign, serving as President of the El Paso County Bar Association, the Vice President of the Colorado Bar Association and, more recently, the President of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. Currently he has been providing assistance to CSAHA, the parent company of the Jr. Tigers and Pikes Peak Miners, helping it partner with USA Hockey to become a national class youth hockey club.
