Claudia Brett Goldin is Director of Family Immigration Services at Catholic Charities of Central Colorado. Previously, she served as an attorney in the public sector for over twenty-five years and then practiced immigration law in her own law firm. Raised in Colorado, Claudia earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, served as a VISTA Volunteer, and then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was a Public Interest Scholar. She returned to Colorado to serve for five years as a trial and appellate attorney with the Public Defender’s Office. Claudia later worked in the Colorado Attorney General’s Office for twenty years. As a First Assistant Attorney General, she led several attorney divisions and represented a wide variety of state agencies. Claudia left government practice to pursue a legal career more directly in service to individuals and communities. She opened her own immigration law firm, where she served private and pro bono clients. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning and co-chair of AILA Colorado’s Department of Motor Vehicles and Social Security Administration Liaison Committee.
