    The Director position is the sole staff member of the Pikes Peak Justice and Pro Bono Center, Inc. (“The Justice Center”). This position coordinates access to justice programs and events, as well as handling related administrative duties. The Director answers to a board of directors and works in direct collaboration with the executive director and president of the El Paso County Bar Association, along with the staff of Colorado Legal Services.

    The demand for pro bono services in domestic relations is very high.  YOU can help by 1) getting on the roster of pro bono attorneys judges will appoint through the Civil Pro Bono Project; or 2) Give legal advice at Family Law Day this May.

    The El Paso County Bar Foundation, in partnership with the Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation, the Viola Vestal Coulter Foundation and the El Pomar Foundation, has established a law student scholarship program to support students at both the University of Denver and University of Colorado law schools that have expressed a desire to practice law in the Pikes Peak Region after graduation.
