Job Description
Job Title: Law School Intern Department: 9801 ADMIN
Reports To: Regional Building Attorney Classification: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $25 hourly Job Type: Part-time
Benefits: This is a temporary internship (at-will) hourly position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, Sick leave via the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association). Medical benefits to be offered if employee is scheduled to work a schedule of 1,500 or more hours per year.
Position Summary:
The Law School Intern is responsible for assisting the Regional Building Attorney and the Associate Attorney(s) in handling delegated legal, regulatory, and administrative matters for Pikes Peak Regional Building Department. The position is non-exempt and at-will. The Law School Intern will be a strategic thought-partner and report to the Regional Building Attorney.
