Clawson & Clawson, LLP is looking for their next Family Law Paralegal!

Duties:

  • Assist attorneys in managing and organizing case files
  • Prepare, draft, and proofread legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Maintain document management systems and ensure accurate filing and indexing of documents
  • Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings for attorneys
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
  • Prepare summaries of legal documents
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail for accurate proofreading of legal documents
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in using computer software and document management systems

This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion. The ideal candidate will have 5 years previous experience working as a paralegal in family law. A paralegal certificate or degree is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Family Law Paralegal: 5 years (Required)
