About the job

We’re looking for a Family Law Associate Attorney who wants to do meaningful work in a supportive, high‑standards, growing environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who cares deeply about the quality of their advocacy, values clarity and compassion with clients, and thrives in a team that genuinely has each other’s backs.

Who You Are

You’ve been practicing family law for at least three years and feel confident managing cases from start to finish — including contested hearings and permanent orders. You’re licensed in Colorado and reside somewhere along the Front Range, are comfortable traveling between Colorado Springs and the Denver metro area for court and client needs. You’re comfortable in the courtroom, thoughtful in your strategy, and grounded in communication.

You want a role where you can focus on the work that matters — clients, advocacy, and outcomes. You appreciate structure, accountability, and a team that supports one another. You also believe that being a great lawyer shouldn’t require sacrificing every evening or weekend.

Who We Are

We’re a small, growing family law firm based in Colorado Springs. We believe in doing excellent work for families while also protecting the well‑being of the people who serve them. We provide strong paralegal and administrative support so you can focus on client‑facing work and litigation, not paperwork and scheduling.

What the Role Looks Like

This is a litigation‑heavy position with a mix of remote work and in‑person obligations. You’ll meet clients in our Colorado Springs office for mediations and virtual hearings, and you’ll appear in person for court matters throughout the region.

Compensation and Structure

  • $85-150k total base salary + commission with a 100‑hour monthly billable requirement
  • Bonus for additional hours bills and origination paid on all cases brought in
  • Flexible compensation options for attorneys with their own book of business, including higher origination percentages or a lower base
  • Full administrative, billing, and scheduling support
  • Health insurance, 401(k) with match, bar dues, registration, and CLE support
  • PTO and vacation time
  • A family‑friendly culture that honors your life outside of work

How to Apply

If you’re a strong family law litigator who wants to do meaningful work in a supportive, high‑performance environment, we encourage you to apply. Send your resume & cover letter to be considered to abell@sustainablefamilysolutions.com. We’re excited to speak with attorneys who take pride in their craft and want to grow with a firm that values excellence.
