A Scenic Tour of Rule 1 of the Ethics Rules – Part Four
CLE: 1 General & 1 Ethics (pending)
Presented by Gordon J. Williams
Mr. Williams will continue his discussion of Rule 1 of our ethics rules. In this continuation of the December 16, 2020 Probate Section Webinar, he will discuss Rule 1.6 – Confidentiality of Information, Rules 1.7 and 1.8 and conflicts of interests pertaining to current clients, and Rule 1.9 and duties to former clients.
Please note that this CLE will extend through May, 2021. Mr. Williams has found that a satisfactory review and discussion of the Rules and case law takes much longer than expected.

Every Wednesday night, from 7 - 9 pm, The Justice Center offers Call A Lawyer, a free legal clinic where members of the public can call and speak to a lawyer one-on-one about their legal matters. Brief advice (10-30 minutes) is given to each caller.
This clinic is a huge opportunity to bridge the gap in justice access and give two hours of your time to help those in our community without access.
